Bachelor's Grove

Generally considered one of the most haunted spots in the Chicago area, Bachelor's Grove is an old cemetery, now abandoned and neglected, where a number of key developments in Cosa Nosferatu take place.  It is where Randolph Carter and Harley Warren first stumble across the gateway to the universe of the Old Ones.  It is also where Ness, Lamia Lucedio, Carter, and Al Capone have a final showdown with Harley Warren and the creatures from that other world.

If the events of Cosa Nosferatu are to be believed, a shoggoth from that other universe was left to slumber in the mysterious pond next to the cemetery, where it would presumably still rest today.
